Anger Management for Youth (AMY) Services
Monthly workshops and eight session groups are available for youth who are having difficulty managing their anger at home, in school, or in other settings. AMY services are available for a reasonable fee at CHILD, Inc. but can also be sponsored by schools, community centers, or other agencies.
Project P.R.I.D.E. (Promoting Respect in Dating Experiences)
Project P.R.I.D.E. is a dating violence intervention program for adolescents and young adults in New Castle County. Individual counseling is available as well as outreach presentations provided in schools and the community. These interactive presentations emphasize how to recognize abusive behaviors, characteristics of healthy relationships, how to help a friend, and where to get help.
The Runaway and Homeless Youth Project
Offers a 24-Runaway Hotline (302) 762-6373 for youth and their families, short-term crisis shelter, and counseling services in New Castle County. Outreach presentations regarding runaway behavior and other youth issues are provided in schools and the community.
The DELTA Safe Dating Project
A dating violence primary prevention program that teaches high school students the skills necessary for building and maintaining healthy relationships.
