You may be able to make a tax-free transfer of money directly from your IRA to CHILD, Inc.

If you are at least 70 ½ years old and wish to make a charitable contribution with available funds from your  individual retirement account (IRA), you may transfer funds per year directly from your IRA to a 501(c)(3) charitable organization through a qualified charitable distribution (QCD). The QCD will not be included in your adjusted gross income for IRS tax purposes and, therefore, may reduce your federal income tax liability and Medicare premium surcharges. A QCD is especially helpful if you are at least 73 years old because the  QCD can be applied to offset the required minimum distributions (RMD) that you must withdraw from your IRA.

Each year, CHILD, Inc. identifies its neediest families in an effort to create a holiday that matters for those who would not otherwise receive gifts. The gift room is open to current clients for the holidays to select, “shop” for toys/arts & crafts, games, outside toys for their children. PayPal Giving Fund (formerly Mission Fish) CHILD, Inc. is able to accept donations on eBay from any PayPal user through Donate Now. In addition, eBay Community Sellers are able to donate part or all of their sales to CHILD, Inc.

CHILD, Inc. participates in the recycling cell phone fundraising program offered through Phones 4 Charity. The funds CHILD, Inc. receives for the donated phones are used to help victims of domestic violence. If you wish to donate your old cell phone and battery (no accessories accepted), please mail or drop them off between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at: CHILD, Inc., 507 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington, DE 19809.
